The Challenge

To ensure the client knew the issues on this 1060's 35m multi storey office block in the heart of London they needed to exercise caution in the selection of a competent demolition contractor.

My Solution

Whilst delivering bespoke 2 day Demolition Safety Management courses at their HQ at Chelsea Bridge, London I was asked to assist.  I initially visited site, received the contractors submissions made further enquiries, reviewed the CDM 2007 arrangements and then issued a technical report.

The Result

Berkeley Homes (St Edwards Homes) successfully contracted T E Scudder Ltd following a pre-contract meeting with the client team, Denis Deacy Scudder MD and me.

My/Our Comments

The project is now underway with the client having the benefit of being able to call upon my services as and when needed for audits etc.
