My name is Myles Wayne Bagnall MBE MSc CMIOSH Hon-FIDE MCMI. In the 1970's I studied Chemistry & Biochemistry for five years attaining a City & Guilds Full Technological Certificate (Part 111) equivalent to degree level.
I continued with my education in management and safety gaining Membership with the Chartered Institute of Management (MCMI), a Certificate of Professional Competence in transport safety with the RSA, a qualified Demolition Engineer with the Institute of Demolition Engineers (Hon-FIDE), received membership upgrade to Fellowship of the Chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CFIOSH).
In 1997 I was awarded an MBE in the Queens Birthday Honours list for 'Services to the Building Industry'. In 2000 I was one of the first four people to be awarded a Masters Degree in Construction (Health & Safety) Management at John Moores University Liverpool.

I worked in the family business in Asbestos Removal and Demolition as a Director of the Bagnall Group Ltd. During my time with the company I continued to develop my personal expertise by various training, writing papers on asbestos and demolition safety issues and delivering presentations around the country at national conferences (IOSH, NFDC, ICE) etc.
In 1999 I set up an independent consultancy, Wayne Bagnall Ltd t/a Wayne Bagnall Consulting, providing specialist safety advice and training in asbestos (UKATA) and demolition safety to private industry and government. I was listed on the HSE "OSHCR" as a registered consultant for many years and considered by my peers to be a leading authority in this field applying practical experience underpinned with a Masters Degree in Construction Health & Safety Management.
